The Infant Jesus of Prague, il Bambino di Praga ("Prazske Jesulatko"), donated to the church in 1628 is said to have miraculous curing powers - protecting the city against plague and the destruction in the 30 Years War...
Originally called church of the Holy Trinity, the first Baroque church in Prague, the Church of Our Lady Victorious, was build in 1613 for the German Lutherans. Since then renamed and rebuilt to the form we see today, the church now contains an exhibition of the presents that the Infant of Jesus was given along the centuries. Among them famous personalities such as Maria Teresa , who made and embroidered the dress herself. Altogether, the exhibition is comprised of about 80 different outfits - all to be seen in the Muzeum of the Infant Jezus of Prague.
