Das Haus der Kulturen der Welt is an important place for contemporary culture. It´s also known as the pregnant oyster or also the pearl from the river Spree.
In January there are going to be some conferences and indipendent movies on the divided Berlin and in February das Haus der Kulturen will be associated with the underground music festival Transmediale.
