The Freiswimmer( meaning free swimmer) is a great place to chill in the warmer months. Located right on one of the canals from the Spree river, it serves up some tasty food in an atmosphere that will take you away from Berlin for the moment. Stay late and have a cold beer or cocktail and mingle with friends while you watch the hard party goers just across the way piling in for a long night out..... You might even get the feeling that you have started a ride on a certain Disney ride.... but it´s worth it for the start of the night....

"Freischwimmer" is top for good food and that "out-of-town"-feeling in the city! We recently had a rump steak+homemade chips and shrimps+asparagus&potatoes there and it was delicious. Prices are more then Ok, too. I'm not speaking about the atmosphere, which is simply relaxing...

Go there, they have realy the best brunch in Town ( only on Sunday) And it´s sunny the hole Morning till afternoon...
