The "cult" leader of "Another Country" is Alan Raphaeline, who would be more than happy challenge anyone and everyone in extemporaneous discussions/debates about almost any topic (except for Harry Potter). This cool, little hole-in-the-wall shop has a myriad of events, such as: Tuesday film nights, Thursday TV Nights, Friday Cooking Nights, and many other hip gigs.

Delicious cakes, brownies, muffins, salads, bagel sandwiches, and their coffee! The two Barcomi´s here in Berlin are always full and always tasty. The owner comes from New York city and has brought that charm with her and certain recipies such as the New York cheese cake or a hot pastrami sandwich. Have a cappuccino and you might just stick around Berlin for awhile. Maybe the best in town. You walk in and the smell will take you back to when you were a kid and you wanted to lick the mixing spoon clean from all the frosting or cake batter. Simply put,..... stop by and see for yourself.

Delicious and big meals in the Swäbisch tradition. It´s not a big place, but they really do it right! I can eat here night after night. Try the maultaschen. They are a pasta like pouch filled with puréd spinich and bacon and onions and with a fried egg cooked with that.... forget about it! Or go for the Späztle.. Also a noodle meal with a nice mountain cheese mixed in and made fresh just for you. They have salads as well and other items, and they all are good and fairly priced for the portions you get A true treasure if you are hungry and in a hurry.

An old alternative Cinema from the golden 80th. Still a meltingpod for cultural interested people. A lot of theme nights and partys from the off cinema environment. And a good location to start a Berlin Kreuzberg night.

One of the best Falafel places in town. Always full, good price, great hood. Come here before or after or in between a big night out in Kreuzberg...
