Daytrip cruising through Friedrichshain the arty and party district by: Claudia
Friedrichshain was founded in 1920 during the industrialization as a workers district. It´s the smallest district of Berlin, located in the east in between of the BoBo district of Prenzlauer Berg and the multikulti western part of Berlin Kreuzberg. This district is known to the insiders as the place where contemporary subculture movement takes place. Here artists create and live. If you´re up to get in touch with some avantgarde culture that´s the place to be. Here you get the Brooklyn side of Berlin ; )
